Bermi Ferrer
I'm a Spanish Web application developer who lives in Barcelona most part of the year.

- Me at Googleplex, summer 2004
My interest areas cover, Rapid web application development, database modeling, Rich Internet Applications, Web standards, Usability, Internationalization, Graphic Design, Unit testing, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python, JavaScript and everything that has to do with solving complex problems using simple solutions.
My favourite scripting language still is PHP, but I'm falling in love with Ruby and Python more and more.
I enjoy writing JavaScript using the prototype library, and experimenting with new stuff.
In 2003 I cofounded Akelos Media, S.L. and released the InmoEasy application for creating custom tailored real estate portals.
At Akelos Media I coded and released the Akelos PHP Framework, a Ruby on Rails version for the PHP language.
When I'm not working I enjoy learning and experimenting with new technologies, reading others source code and writing mine , visiting Wikipedia, traveling (or at least "cyber-traveling" with Google Earth), going to live events in Barcelona, reading, listening smooth jazz, old school R&B.
I also enjoy designing and criticising websites and logos, "reading" design books and visiting eye candy pages.
If you have an interesting project don't hesitate to contact me at info@bermi.org.
